Gary Matts 
President

​Gary Matts is serving his fourth term as president of the Chicago Federation of Musicians, Local 10-208 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada.  He was first elected to the Board of Directors of Local 10-208 in 1992, and currently serves as a trustee on the American Federation of Musicians and Employers Pension Fund and the Chicago Federation of Musicians Employers Welfare Fund.  Born in Chicago, Gary attended Grover Cleveland Elementary School, Lane Technical High School, and earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Roosevelt University.

Sean Hennessy
Secretary-Treasurer

Sean Hennessy is Manager of the SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local’s Commercial, Corp./Ed. and New Media Contracts Department, and he began his term as CEILC Secretary-Treasurer in 2015. Hennessy organizes new commercial, industrial and webisode work for actors in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Iowa, and he engages in outreach, education, and provides subject matter expertise in these contract areas for actors, producers and industry personnel. Hennessy, a Chicago native and graduate of DePaul University, also has helped recoup more than $1 million in performer earnings for working actors.
